Holidays have been amazing <3... but too short. Bintan with the others was amazing and fun and just really great. Beach was so lovely and we had the place mostly to ourself... And olli's legal now! woohooo! awesome.

Riding's been alright. Riding wid Jay now till catz comes back. Nick likes him. He's quite good with him and jay always makes u get him moving which is good but also damn tiring. Went up yesterday n today and rode him with Sheila yesterday. He was being an ass in going forward but still practised some exercises with him. Did some leg yield and rein back, both of which he did great. At first he didn't do leg yield but then sheila said to shift my weight a bit more to the side I wanted to go and as soon as I did that and gave him the aids for it, he did it. He's so smart... just so lazy too...Anyways then did more leg yield and he kept doing it nicer... At some points only got him to walk along the diagonal that way instead of making him move one step to the side and forward and then another step to the side but in the end got it a few times which was great. Did some turns on the forehand then and he kept wanting to walk forward instead of keeping still after he moved the leg. Finally did some rein back and after a few times he did them.
Rode Biggie in a lesson with sheila after and he wasn't nice. He hadn't been out since the weekend and well he was damn stiff. Felt like he was lame but sheila checked a few times and said she couldn't find anything. Did some trotting and then he got a bit better. He keeps drifting to the outside now though. Annoying. Did some leg yield and turn on the forehands with him and he was to no surprise great at them. He did them directly and well yea he was really good. Did some 10m circles then and down center line and stuff like that. Cantered him a bit in the end but his canter was fucked up. Was me though, I twist my body when I ask for the canter too much now and still give my hands too much instead of keeping the contact....sucked. Got his left canter nicely but the right one was bad. Couldn't get it at first and then when got it, he lifted his hind legs up so high. Even unusually high for him. Was weird... again probably me though. Asked jay who rides him now and he just said they haven't schooled him for a few weeks.. awesome...
Anyways went out for some quick shopping at lunch and all the shop people though sheila was my mum........ didn't like it... weird.. anyway bought a nice pair of shoes he he... and they were cheap :D lol..
Next day rode Nick with jay again... Did a lot of trotting in the beginning and circles... then some canter. It was ok. better than the day before. Got his head down a bit more on the left side which was great but yea dead tired he he... Then did some walk canter and a few times it went ok but it always took him so long to the canter. He gets all tense and makes this weird growling sound when you ask but if you put less leg it's just like he won't respond. And to the whip he'll just growl more. He's weird... I dno if the goats are doing him any good next to his stable.... Anyway practised a lot of canter and getting his head down more but also attempting to get him coming from the back in the canter. Worked a little. I use way too little outside rein though...Anyway jay said to cool him down then and after he left quickly wanted to see if he still remember the stuff from yesterday. Asked for some leg yield in walk and he did it nicely. Turn on the forehand was ok but still walked a bit. Rein back was great and he directly did it on both sides and after directly walked on again.
Rode Pipsqueak after then. Was fun. Just a lot of fun. Her canter is so nice to sit to and it's just like wheeee and yay he he. Her trot is either slow n stumbling or too fast. Tried to get her head but then she stumbled more and when I put more leg she put her head up again.... sorta weird but got it in the end. Just did serpentines and circles. Enjoyed the ride though. Was nice and just really fun :)
