Rode Arterial on Sunday with Catherine.He's so cute, he tries to like please so hard.Nevertheless the lesson probably looked pretty crap.I could barely get him on the bit and he was rushing off most of the time.We rode with longer reins because Catz said she wanted me to try to get him to slow down using my seat and also with half halts...It was hard.Practised loads of bending and after 20mins Catz got on him to show me how you should ride him.Oviously with her he was perfect.When I got on him again and catz gave me a "perfect" leg up,Arterial moved forward and I sat on his butt,behind the saddle and was stuck there.God it was embaressing and it was so hard to get over the saddle.Catz just stood there laughing.When I finally got onto the saddle again we practised more sitting trot and I felt him give in a bit and putting his head down a bit more,but then after a few times head up again.His canter is amazing though and not rushed at all.Weird...Prefer his canter to his trot...Towards the end took him over trot poles a few times and jumped a tiny cross with him.He jumps so weird lol,he just like goes for it in any way he can.So unexpected he he..Still cute though :)
Anyways I now prefer mounting alone instead of legs up especially training with catherine lolz...was so embaressing being stuck behind the saddle ha ha...hope no one saw it!
Going up to rl again tomorrow and riding at 9am.
Not going KotaKinabalu with Steph on the weekend because the stupid plane tickets are sold out and they only have first class left,pff as if I can afford that.I wanted to go,it would have been like langkawi years ago...so sad...sucks.
