The competition was so freaking fun and awesome.I loved it!Was much better than last year.

Friday:
Dawn came to my school and we drove up to riderslodge.When we got there dawn got on chester and rode him a bit with jay.Catz and me set up some of the jumps outside of arena b and chester spooked at them and threw dawn off...sorry dawn!!She got on though after and they cantered again.At 6pm got on Crowe and had jumping lesson with Catz.Crowe was a bit fast and well I couldn't really control him at the canter over the jumps.So after trying alot Catz got on him and she rode him for a bit.After that I got on him again and he was a bit better but also pissed off...Got off him after 30 mins and got on Striking Diamand.Practised some canter with him and he wanted to go home so badly.Bucked me twice in the canter...After that practised the elementary twice and Diamand was perfect.Then went to the briefing where I came too late cause catz wanted to do the elementary once more...Briefing was short and then showered and ate dinner.Wanted to plait but it was all done, too bad :P...Then tried to get DVD player but we couldn't find one so we just watched some boring shows and then fell asleep.

Saturday:
Went down early and got on Big Splendor.Rode him on the grass a bit and he was well a bit crooked...Got into the ring and did 2.1 on him.He was great the trot but at the canter he was pretty crooked,probably because I didn't sit straight enough.Our walk and trot was very slooowwww.End results were something like 62.8%. Got on artic mirage directly after and tried to get him a bit more round.He wouldn't canter outside so had to use the whip...bad transitions.Got into arena a and did the prelim 1.1.I actually thought that it was pretty good except my first trot canter transition.And the first bit of the test was a bit weird.Towards the end it got better though and got 58.8% on the test.Dawn got first on diamand!! :D:D Then was the jumping.I was so scared to jump Crowe.It was only 30cm but still!Turned out in the end he actually went too slow lol.He refused once because I came in way too slow,so my fault.But somehow I got his trust back and so I felt more confident on him after that jumping.So I was damn happy about that.Then had lunch and at 2.30pm the instructors did a demo.Catz on Crowe,Jay on Biggie and Myriam on Mars.They looked like WOW!When we all get to that point lol....After that got on Crowe again and jumped the 30-50cm.Catz was like the whole time so tanja in what gait do we jump etc.She also said that if I wouldn't canter the whole way se would kill me.Myriam also said canter the whole time so I cantered him around.Got over all the jumps with only 4 faults because I was scared that I wouldn't make the 9th fence so I went back to a trot and Crowe had problems jumped the jump.So my fault but he didn't run out!After the course I dropped the reins and hugged Crowe so much.Love him.I have no idea if it helped but before the jumping I was like thinking the whole time please Crowe im scared alot already please help me etc.I know it sounds weird but maybe it helped.Whatever I was damn happy.Got first place with him.He got LOADS of polo's after.And I proposed to him in the evening while dawn had a secret affair with diamand!Lets hope that we are on doesn't find out about this dawn!Lol I was so happy about the win with crowe that I just ran up to catz and hugged her lol.She was like wth uhh ok.Ha ha oh well. Anyways had 50-70 jumping after.Was suppost to swap to KGB but then someone else joined so had to stay on avc.I was like to myrs if avc could even jump that height and she said yes.In the warm up his jump felt weird even over an oxer.He like stops infront of the jump if you dont use LOADS of leg.So different after riding crowe.So then went into the ring with him and he tried his best I hope.After the second jump got tossed out of the saddle so had to stop and find both stirrups.Then the 7th jump he refused because we already came in slow at the 6th jump.I really think he didn't like the 2nd jump,because that jump was also jump 9.So we approached jump 9 and I thought it was quite an ok canter but then he stopped infront of the fence and I went over his head and over the jump.Ha ha woops.Luckily it didn't hurt though.Went upstairs then and showered.Then went down for the briefing.It was kind of cool.The judge gave us alot of tips for the next day and especially on the walk.The next day the judge wrote on my test sheet that my walk had improved he he yay.The judge like asked how many marks you can get in dressage tests and catz sitting next to me was like ten,tanja say ten,it's ten tanja so say ten etc the whole time so I was just like grr fine and shouted ten.The judge was like no I can also give you a zero so it's eleven.Hit catz after lol.Something similar happened at the next question but I didn't shout out the answer this time lol.After that ate the bbq dinner and then watched george of the jungle 2 in black and white because there was some problem with the dvd player.Ha ha we felt soooo old!

Sunday:
Ran downstairs early and got on Big Splendor again.Did the novice 2.3 test on him and it was so much better.He was being all bucky in the grass but inside the ring his canter was great.The judges wrote on most of my test sheets that I have a very nice seat. :D:D Yay.I actually got a 7 for some of my canter circles lol.Got a score of 62.4% in total which gave me second place.So then Dawn rode diamand for the novice.Diamand was acting up and wouldnt canter and dawn got error of course but she still looked nice on diamand and she still got a score.Had the elementary after.I must say it was not great.Rode diamand and he was prancing around alot and doing jog steps.My shoulder in was horrible eventhough diamand is perfect at it and the whole test was a bit of a mess.My simple changes had trot inbetween them eventhough you were suppost to walk canter walk.Considering all my mistakes I still passed the test which was very amazing.Got 3rd placing with 52% out of 3 people.Chiaki on avc got 52.4% and Audrey on pbt got 58%.After that had a nice long break which I needed and then did the prelim 1.3 on artic.I could not feel him bond with me in any way and throughout the test I did an error of course eventhough jay was shouting out RIGHT and I went left.Stupid.Weirdly I still got 3rd placing with 60.2%.After that was the 50-70 power and speed.Had kgb for that which I was darn happy about.Jumped him clear.My time was pretty bad but I just wanted to go clear because no one else had gone clear yet except one of the grooms.Got second place there if you count the grooms.At the prize ceremony got first though because the grooms were judged and given prizes differently.

Judge Razak said that I improved alot from last year so I'm very happy about that :)
